The best spot that locals recommend is Delboy’s Diner. This 1950s themed diner is one of the most popular joints in the city, taking you back in time with the black and white checkered floors, red vinyl booths and classic cars parked out front. You can get lots of traditional American-style foods, so give yourself a treat and gorge your taste buds on the famous Hound Dog Burger, twice baked pork belly and ranch sauce with your fries. For multiple spices and flavour combinations, Scents of Siam is a good spot. Thai food is cooked here with finesse and feeling, which keeps visitors coming back for more. They have the popular Pad Thai, as well as a selection of egg noodles and rice with an assortment of toppings and meats. A lot of their dishes contain coconut cream and milk, which gives it the lovely full flavour.

If you’re north of Perth and don’t want to make the trek into the city, Joondalup is a good alternate city to store. There are residential opportunities if garages, basements, rooms and attics are perfect for what you need. There are also spaces such as warehouses and sheds for anything from documents to tools that you might not have room for anymore.

You can use the Mitchell Freeway if you’re coming up from Perth, as there is an exit that leads you into Joondalup. If you’re closer to the coastline, Burns Beach Road will lead you straight into the suburb. Moore Drive goes right through Joondalup and gives you a great central position so if you’re unfamiliar with the area, you are in the best position to travel to either side of the suburb.
