La Trobe University

Founded in 1964 and named after Charles La Trobe, La Trobe University is one of the members of the Sandstone Universities, which is composed of some of Australia’s oldest universities. La Trobe’s original campus can be found in the metropolitan area of Melbourne. It is located in the suburb of Bundoora and is considered the largest metropolitan campus in Australia. It caters to approximately 22,000 students who enjoy the convenience of having a lot of restaurants, bars, shops and banks in the surrounding suburb. In addition, La Trobe has campuses located in Bendigo, Albury-Wodonga, Mildura, Shepparton, and the CBD.
