Public Transport

The mode of transportation for La Trobe students may vary, depending on which campus they are in. If you are studying in the campuses located in Melbourne, you can choose to ride the buses, trains or trams that are always available in the area.

Trains

You can travel to the Melbourne campus via the Hurstbridge or Epping train lines where you can bring your bicycles inside the train for free. This route is highly recommended for students, as it gives them a faster and more convenient way to go around the area.

Buses

If you do not own a car or just want to save money from fuel expenses, riding a bus is one of the best choices for you. If you are coming from the city to the Melbourne campuses, especially the Bundoora Campus, use the 350 bus which takes the fastest route to the campus. If you are travelling from Eltham, another option is to take the NightRider bus that can even drive you inside the campus if you so request.
