In between listening and looking out for airplanes as they fly past, head down to Swallow Coffee Traders. They offer premium coffee, as well as coffee beans for those who are big fans of the coffee they have tasted. Have a nice breakfast, with choices ranging from acai bowls to avo on toast with truffle oil added in for a little extra taste. Grilled sandwiches and wraps are also available, with delicious crumbed chicken, smoked salmon and bacon wrapped in between warm tortillas and sourdough bread. Sir Braxton Chocolate Bar is probably one of the best places for all-day food. You could have breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert here. Everything, from their Haloumi Tower to Sir Braxtons Waffles, is mouth wateringly delicious. Once you eat here, you’ll want to keep coming back and choose something different from their extensive menu every time you come back.

Rockdale has its cafes and restaurants, but it also has a light industrial area within its borders, which brings in more of the industrial spaces and warehouses that are available for rent. If you’re only looking for a small space, a garage or storage unit could be just the thing you’re looking for. There are also a few commercial buildings and centres in the area, which can be perfect for things such as inventory storage.

The Princes Highway is the main road that goes through the suburb, and it follows the train line. General Holmes Drive also passes through Rockdale, however this road will most likely experience heavy traffic, as it goes past the airport and is a route to other highways, motorways and freeways. There are public transport options if you’re close to the area or if there is an easy route from your place to Rockdale. Rockdale has its own train station, as well as being a major bus interchange for the State Transit buses.
